Founded in 1973 by W.B. "Hap" Carson in Plant City, Florida. Today led by his son David Carson — still building products in the same Polk-and-Hillsborough county dirt that started it all.
Our story
A family business with a Plant City address.
W.B. "Hap" Carson founded Chemical Dynamics in 1973 with a simple proposition: build crop nutrient products that actually worked for the citrus and vegetable growers around Plant City. Fifty years later, that proposition hasn't changed — we just serve more crops, more states, and more generations of growers.
Today, David Carson leads the company as President, with Ben Carson as Vice President. The Plant City Industrial Park facility produces our complete brand portfolio — SOAR, Dyna-Flo, Dyna Gold, Dyna-Gro, DynaZone, Dyna Green, CEIA, FLITE, Verdant, and Heron — plus branded, custom-formulation, and private-label work for retail and distributor partners nationwide.
Both Hap and David have served as Chairman of the Florida Fertilizer and Agrichemical Association (FFAA). Our long-standing partnership with the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences keeps our formulations grounded in the same research our customers rely on.
