Turf & Ornamental

Fifty Years of Formulating, Now in Turf

In 2023, Chemical Dynamics brought five decades of crop nutrition science into the turf and ornamental market. We are not a turf company that decided to make fertilizer. We are a fertilizer manufacturer that built a turf line from the ground up, using the same formulation standards, the same in-house production, and the same commitment to guaranteed analysis that our agricultural customers have relied on since 1973. If you manage a golf course, run lawn care routes, or maintain ornamental plantings, we make products worth looking at.

How Chemical Dynamics Helps You Grow

  • Formulated for the Southeast

Our turf products were developed for the heat, humidity, and water conditions of the region — not adapted from a northern program.

  • In-House Manufacturing

CEIA, Verdant, Heron, and Flite are all made in our Plant City facility. No third-party blenders, no supply surprises.

  • Guaranteed Analysis

The label says what it says because we tested what we made. Our quality standard has not changed since 1973.

  • 50 Years of Plant Science

We brought a half century of crop nutrition formulation experience into turf. That background shows up in how the products are built.

  • Custom Formulation Available

If your program needs something the shelf product does not do, we can develop it through our private label and custom formulation services.

  • Reps Who Know the Industry

Our turf reps have practical experience in golf and lawn care. They talk to superintendents and operators the way someone who understands the work would.

  1. 1

Talk to a rep who knows turf

Our turf reps work specific territories. They are not calling from a national office. They know the courses and properties in their markets, the conditions those managers deal with, and what the products actually do in real applications — not just on a spec sheet.

  2. 2

We build a program for your situation

Whether you are managing a tournament-quality course, running 200 lawn accounts, or maintaining ornamental plantings for a property management company, the program your rep puts together is built around your situation. What turf type you have, what restrictions you are under, what time of year it is.

  3. 3

We manufacture and you know what you are getting

Every product we recommend comes out of our Plant City facility. We guarantee the analysis. You are not receiving a third-party blend with our label on it — you are getting what we made, tested, and stand behind.

Questions About Our Turf Programs

Chemical Dynamics is known for agriculture — why should I trust your turf products?

Because the formulation science behind good crop nutrition and good turf nutrition is the same. Chelation chemistry, micronutrient availability, biological activity in the soil — these are not new problems for us. We have been solving them in field crops since 1973. The turf products we brought to market in 2023 are built on that foundation.

Are your products designed for warm-season or cool-season turf?

Primarily warm-season — bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, St. Augustinegrass, and centipedegrass, which are the dominant turf types across our Southeast market. Several products also perform well on cool-season varieties used on golf course greens. Your rep can advise based on your specific situation.

Do you have programs for water restriction conditions?

Yes. Managing turf under water restrictions is about more than cutting back on irrigation — it requires improving how efficiently the water you do apply moves into the soil and how well-developed the root system is before the restrictions hit. Our wetting agent line and root-focused nutritional products are built around those priorities.

Can you help with a custom formulation for a specific situation?

Yes. Through our manufacturing operation in Plant City, we develop private label and custom formulation products for distributors and operators who need something tailored. Contact our team to start that conversation.

What is the quickest way to figure out which products fit my program?

Call your rep. They will talk through your turf type, your calendar, and the specific problems you are managing and come back with a practical recommendation — not a full catalog.
